Lemon | Fashion

This piece was sketched extensively to teach me what this piece is about: the bile of terror in a mother’s stomach as she tries to get herself and her babies out of a war zone. ‘Fashion’ is my support for Ukraine as I join other Artists for Peace. A contemporary figurative piece, this lemon sports rainbow hair and a floral flow of purple and yellow. I donate 50% of profits on all my Lemon collection prints to Medecins Sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders . Lots of risk taking with this modern expressionist piece, I sketched it out extensively before starting to paint, I enjoyed the floral flow of the purple and the weird raw nature of the face that appears.
